I have had luck with a two inch Bobby Garland stinger, pink top and pearl body. Fish the coves with a slip float at about four feet. A Chartreuse and white Bobby Garland stinger on a 1/16th Road Runner long line trolled will also fill your boat. Welcome from Alabama.
We fished there yesterday with the Coosa River Crappie Club and fish were caught from 2-18 feet deep by our folks. There are fish in all stages now. I can't tell you about colors but anything with blue in i. usually works. Good luck, be safe out there and give us a report on how it goes.
