Headed to the old channel Thursday morning. Beautiful morning with light wind a slow but steady bite. The wind picked up about 1pm and the bite slowed a lot. We left about 2pm with 21 fish from 9.5-12 inches. All caught rigging with minnows on jig or bare hook. Fish were scattered but the best bite was just inside the mouth about 15 down. Talked to another boat that said they moved shallow as the water warmed. 3 foot down in 6-8 fow.Attachment 295315Attachment 295316

The other deal was - 23 boats in there, most spider rigging. Few two pole strollers. Made it "interesting".
Good day fishing though.Glad we were out.
