The above link is an article they posted about testing some bubblers and sound walls to see if it will help detour Asian carp from entering Barkley Dam. Seems they may be several years to late

I like the idea, and look forward to the testing and data. The only thing that struck me akwardly was that the article stated that the system will be removed after 3 years.
What if this system is exactly what we need to begin reducing migrating fish, and the density control would be the next step.

Interesting idea but I thought they have established that the Asian carp were already spawning in the lakes? If so, how much would preventing them from passing through the dams really help?
