So I'm going thru the fishing sites looking at baits and tips/tricks to use them.
One of my favorite bass baits is a wiggle wart.
So I'm on Cabelas.com looking at them to see if there's anything new and I run across this in the reviews....

Great crappie secret
Wiggle Warts are the best kept secret for catching giant slab crappie. I tournament fish a lot in Mississippi, home of the world record crappie, and lots of local tournament fishermen are hung up on Bandit crankbaits. Bandits are really good. I like them, too. But, my personal favorite is a Wiggle Wart. Better action. I am unhappy with the price of crankbaits. I suggest the crankbait mfgers go back to basics--especially for the newest crankbait market, the tournament crappie fisherman. Look, we fast troll these things for reaction bites and a crappie does not care how pretty or detailed the paint job is. They feed up. They can't even see the top of a crank bait. Solid colored Wiggle Warts are my favorite. I paint accent colors on them as I see fit. The old solid white or "blank" Wiggle Wart was the right idea. Put less expense in paint jobs and packaging. Give me a solid colored crankbait for half the price----please.

So does anyone use them for crappie. If so what colors and techniques do you use.
Thanks in advance...
