I down loaded the new update on my SD card today but on my computer I did not have to down load it from a zip file.
It said it down loaded it on the SD card and the unit shows the new update,but everything that I have read says to do it through a zip file
Just wondering if it down loaded it correctly.
Anybody else ever ran into this before?
Mine down loaded as a UPD file.
Right.. it’s a UDP file and,load it as download. No unzipping.
Yeah its dowloaded right. Mine didnt automaticlly start had to manually start the install.

I rebooted my unit with the update on the sd card and it automatically updated.
It’s a pretty sweet update!
I guess I will find out how good it is this week.
I have a new Gen3-12 inch that's suppose to be here Monday or Tuesday and I will make sure it has the new update on it also.
Will just have to take a day off from fishing this week to install it.
Already installed it on my HDS9's.
Not impressed. The waypoints will not work with .usr. Barkley has so many trash fish it was a mess. reloaded 2 versions back.

I have experienced bad update's from Lowrance before and had to backload. I hope this is not going to be one of them. I should be able to try it out this week to check it out.
Well the reason I asked is, the last post he started, he asked about uploading usr points. That was 4 days before the update came out.
