A took a few hours off work this morning to see if the crappie were in the mood. The strong south wind made it tough. I caught two within the first 10 minutes and then no bites for the next 2 hours I was out there. It was good to feel the thump again. Things should start heating up around here in the next couple of weeks.

The spawn has already started in N. La and South AR . I did quite well last week despite extreme water levels. They started with water at 58 degrees.
Nice way to spend a few hours away from work.
