Found some pretty decent fish today on structure trolling banks in the back of a few gravois Creek channels. It was pretty nice catching them like that, it almost felt like spring time fishing except for the whole part of it being freezing cold. Attachment 293210

I had similar luck on the banks Sunday. Mostly big females.
We caught most of them on minnows and slip corks. What were you trolling?
We were using a grub on a 16 oz jig head. Color didn't seem to matter. Trolling from lay down to lay down casting over the structure and retrieving slowly.Quote:
