trailer tire ware?
Single axle trailer. Both tire tread are wore smooth on inside treads. Middle and outside treads are good. Bearings are good and everything is tight. Someone told me leaf springs are wore out or boat weight is uneven. Anyone have recommendations. Thank you for your assistance.

If you google 'tires wearing on inside on trailer" you'll find plenty of info. I'm betting your axle has lost its bow or just too light to start with. I have had that before. New heavier axle fixed it. Everything has to be right to get even wear. I have a small crappie jon was doing that. I custom made an axle for it and it has no bow...but I guess I made it so heavy it doesn't flex cause tires don't hardly wear at all now.

Maybe just crappy tires. I’ve ran into some bad sets the last few years. Ones that came on my boat in 08 were recalled. Then the ones they sent wore the inside like crazy, though I had a bent axle. New set from a trailer company and all is well now. Also had a bad set on a 14ft trailer, the ones that came on it new. Think they may put seconds on them to shave costs??

Find a shop that does alignments, they can bend the axles and set caster and camber. My father in law had a body shop specializing in over the road trucks, they did many boat trailers and campers.

If you have Bias tire they will wear unevenly, When you replace the tires make sure that you get radial tires. If the tire has a D in the size written on the tires they are Bias. A radial will have a R in the size. Example (205/75D14 for Bias and 205/75R14 for radial)I am a retired Tire shop manager and would not sell a bias to my customers because I didn't want them coming back and complaining about them LOL Most trailers will come with Bias because they are cheaper and means more profit for the manufacturer. More than likely that is your problem. Hope this helps you!
