Thanks for all the help from you guys ,no 3 pounders this year but had 36 over 2 pounds and lots of through backs only kept fish over 1 1/2 pounds.

great trip! my son and I are going to Jack's creek area on lake Marion first of April. My son will want to Bass fish but I'll talk him into trying to find some crappie some too.

My goodness..... Keeping that many 2 pounders this year makes it hard to anticipate a 3 pounder for next year.

Dang!! glad you found some crappie down there! Wind was insane on saturday. Only caught bass on crappie jigs up jacks creek. First trip down in two years for me. Just tough to fish for me with the wind. Nice job on all the whoppers! As many as that lake has, im sure it didnt hurt a thing.
