Back out on Big & Little Allison yesterday morning. Tried trolling for crappies but caught only small perch. Did not mark much of anything. Water temperature was 58 to 60.
Put the long rods away & started moving around dragging minnows on the bottom(drop shot rigs) in 20 to 30'. Caught most of our perch this way. Bite was slow & very few large perch like we caught last week.
We ended up with about 40 perch & 2 crappies. All are bound for the hot grease.
Thanks for the report Mr. Charles. Glad you fished on my birthday. I sure didn't, I had to work.:Doh: Hope to wet a hook some time this week even if it's just hanging a line out the back door in the rain. :Rofl Glad you caught some fish.
