I haven't been to Russell but have fished the Hill and the fish are moving towards the shallows. Flats in the 13'-15' range should be pretty good by now. Good luck....and post your results if you don't mind.;)
How muddy was the water at the hill? I fish Hartwell 3 times a week, just switching it up and trying something different! ThanksQuote:

The hill yesterday up the sc little river was really stained.
Just rode over to the Coldwater Creek boat ramp (the back of the creek) and the parking lot was about half full which tells me it was crowded in that area. Maybe theyre catching though. Hopefully someone will report the water surface temps tonight from their today's trip.:)
Cousin said it was 60 yesterday. Not sure which creek he was in tho. But he really caught the whoppers at Russell!
