LAKE OCONEE REPORT 2/22/18
Jim and I fished Lake Oconee today. The water was 64-67 degrees. The bite was not quite as good for us as it was on Tuesday but we still had a great day. We ran our jigs at a depth of 5-7 feet and caught fish in water 8-18 feet deep. We caught 36 fish between 11-15+ inches and kept 10 for the skillet. Jim caught the largest fish which was over 15 inches and my largest was 14 inches. Even though we caught fewer fish than we did on Tuesday, I believe the average fish size today was a little bit better. Dark colored jigs were the best fish catchers today.
