Mine came apart
I tried wally's signature 75 and the bail spring broke, the guys replaced them but never could get one to stand up shooting docks. The 50,75 series had a different spring than the 100 series. The guys at lew's are great to work with but I went to a different brand and no problem. I did like the 75 series the balance and how it handled but the spring was junk.
I just picked one up for a little of nothing (only reason I bought it) I only buy daiwa after at some point owning them all. I'm not impressed, it's going on a jig pole.

mine fell apart.
I had one and the reel was smooth and had a good drag. But the anti reverse would only catch about half the time. I would set the hook and the reel would start unwinding. Cleaned it and oiled it and still had that problem. So it went in the trash.
I probably own 8 or so Lews Reels. The majority being baitcasters, but I do own 2 Lews 2 spinners. One is a very small 50 series Laser Lite I use on a 5 foot rod. I don't shoot, but its holding up just fine. The other is a Mach II that is my loaner rod for friends and family, but is used for mainly Bass fishing. It feels like a great reel, but doesn't get used much. I also have a small Pflueger 20 series President that I use solely for crappie jigs and for $50, I don't think you can beat a President.
I'm hearing that some reels are "falling apart"? What's that all about? What is falling apart? I've owned a ton of various kinds of reels over many decades. From real "cheapos" to some truly quality reels. Never had any one of them just fall apart. I'm really curious now what this kind of failure looks like.
