can you get a bag with some ice in it and sat it on the rod where it is stuck to get it good and cold ??? let it set for 15 to 20 minutes maybe longer and see if that don't do the trick !!!Quote:

You can buy arrow grabbers that will give you a better grip, if that's part of the problem.
A little heat from a heat gun or hair dryer can go a long ways, applied within reason of course.
I was just going to suggest this. :highfive I watched my grandfather do this many times and always worked. Also, after it was apart he put earwax on it so it would not do it next time.Quote:

Good video scrat. Have used this technique for decades. It works. If that doesn't do it I'd be very surprised. Have helped many friends take apart rods that they gave up on using this technique.
