Never been to either lake but I got some free time this weekend finally so I’m planning on trying out a new lake. Any suggestions on which one to try? Seems like I’ve seen more reports from Eufaula but I don’t even know which part of the lake to begin.
This time of the year put in at Florance State Park and fish Grass Creek, Rood Creek, Little Barbour...I launch at Hatchechubbee and run the river fishing all the creeks.
If you want main lake fish Cheneyhatchee, Barbour or Cowikee ...there is a boat ramp at each one.

both lake will be muddy i am sure with all the rain we had . i know Blackshear will be at least the river has been for several days and then another front yesterday.more rain predicted for the weekend .
Going to give Eufaula a try tomorrow. Starting in Rood.
