The BigEyeCrappieman Jordan Lake 2/3 Tournament Results
Last week we mention the words Elusive Crappie. We found out this week where he got his name from as 13 Teams out of the 20 Teams that showed up could not catch and bring a Jordan Lake Size limit Crappie of 10 inches to the Scales. The morning started off very very cold as the teams ventured out into lake that as of last week was very low about 2 ½ feet low. As The Good Lord delivered fresh water to our area it filled the lake up to only a ½ foot short of normal pool. That teamed up with very cold air temps seem to shut down the Crappie bite including the deep fish and the shallow fish. Only those who ventured south to the S Curves and the River area seemed to catch tournament worthy fish. Jack Sandlin of Burgaw N.C. who was fishing by himself caught a great bag of Fish. 7 Fish weighing 10.590 lbs and the Big Fish of the Day with a 2.435 lb Monster. A Great Catch for the lake conditions presented to him. Congrats Jack on a Great catch. This week in our Tournament Devotion time we talk about how to receive the Free Inexpressible Gift God gave us. We shared Romans 10:13 that says “ for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” we shared Romans 10: 9 that say’s “ If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart God raised him from the dead you will be saved “ We shared a story about how Chester , his dad and son all wearing Life Jackets the entire time as they fished. That at any time if they had fallen into the lake they would be saved because they had on them what could save them. We never know when we will fall out of the boat. We also never know the hour or minute The Lord will decide is our final one. We must be wearing the Life Preserver He has prepared for us. In this life we are drifting down stream in a heavy current of sin and worldliness heading to the lowest place The Pit. We must cry out for help We must call on the name of The Lord! Jesus ! humble ourselves and confess our sins to him and believe in Him and what He has done for us like Romans 10:9 says. And believe it so much that it changes the way we talk the way we act the way we treat others. Living a life Thankful for what He has done for us. Reading His Word . Being filled with His Spirit as it direct us and guides us in this life. Thank you God For Jesus. Also Shane Walser an angler fishing in our Series who has a New Year Crappie Tournament Event in January every year teamed up with the BigEyeCrappieman Series Saturday because of weather and sickness. He gave out lots of prizes. He wanted to give back to the Guys for all he has learned and the friends he has made on our Trail. Thanks Shane! We Love you Brother ! Also I want to send out a Special Thanks to Jeff Dalton and Glenn Sykes for Helping The BigeyeCrappieman with his truck Battery issues.
