Can you disable the automatic email when someone responds to a thread I have posted to? I usually check the threads for replies or other posts and do not thin k I need the emails. Thanks

At the very top of the page click settings, then general settings. scroll down to Default Thread Subscription Mode and make sure that is set to Do not subscribe. I think that will fix it.

I have changed the setting.
