Voltage problems with Lowrance
So yesterday, my Elite TI 9 went crazy. My dad was in the back of the boat and said it went crazy and was reading 1200 ft. He said it wouldn't change screens so he powered it off. Then it wouldn't turn back on. I cranked the outboard and it started with ease so I thought surely it had enough juice. The unit was not hot, had a problem with that back in the summer. I checked the fuse, which was good, and it still would power up. Finished fishing a few hours later and stared up the outboard to head in. I had already attempted to turn on the unit while I was sitting there. After about 10 seconds of the motor running, it powered up and acted like there never was a problem. The starting battery is new but I don't have a voltage display to see what it actually was. I have seen the low voltage alarm at 11 volts when I had a bad battery so this doesn't make sense to me. Has anyone else had this issue and if so what did you do about it?
