This is a rig I found online and bought a couple. Has anyone ever tried one? Looks to be a great rig for trolling. Puts 9 jigs or minnows in a group. Comes with sliders but can be changed to whatever you want to use. I'll be using at KY lake in April. Will report on success or failure.
I read an artical in Crappie World about using them. Where did you find them & how much were they? :D
What are the state regulations as to how many hooks per line/how many hooks per pole in Kentucky?
I'm in Illinois and we have a two hook per line and mostly two poles per person.
I'll be down at Ky. Lake in April and don't want to get busted out of ignorance of the law.

I have used it. It has 5 or 6 slider baits in a merry go round shape. None have hooks on them. In the center 6 inches below the merry go round, there is a bait with a hook in it. So you are Ok legally, as you have only 1 hook. I did catch fish on this rig. My partner and I fish side by side in the front of the boat. I used this rig and he fished the normal vertical way. We found that when we moved the boat back and forth all was OK, when we moved the boat side to side, covering the matt, my rig moved much slower in the water than his and we tangled up. The rig is much heavier than a single jig and thus moves in the water slower. I also missed a fish or 2 and the grubs needed adjusting so they would sit right. I did catch fish though. I prefer to use a vertical single hand held pole fishing over a matt, with wooley booger jigs.
PS, there is a much less expensive place to buy this rig. I don't remember where i saw it, but it was like 2.oo
