David I have not fished since last April or May (hope to change this soon) so not much help on what the crappie are doing this year. If I were to fish going by past years I would go look at the lower end of the lake and really check out the 30' to 50' depths close to the bottom. I'm sure some crappie may be caught at the upper end of the lake but for the bigger fish that's how I would start and if needed work my way back to the ramp. Good luck, hope you find them bitting.
DO YOU THINK TROLLING ARE TIGHT LINE

THANKS STUMP HUNTER
Ppl usually tight line this time of year on that lake. And down in the deeper middle section.
I have been catching limits of crappie for the last 10 days tite lining except for the last 2 days l pushed minnows and pulled jigs tipped with minnows also and the long lining caught 2 to 1 in 14 to 20 FOW .
Couple of boats near me limited out long lining today as water surface temps got to 47.
Hope this helps you on Secession.
