Lake Sampson Weed Report

Anyone been to Sampson recently? How are the weeds?

Unfortunate that such a good lake can be unfishable so much of the time because of weeds.

Went there a few times last month. Weeds are really bad. I caught some nice fish but it took me a few trips to map out small area you can fish without snagging hydrilla.

Woodruff was always known for it's weeds also. My favorite way to get em was a jig and cork, and figure out their depth. Trolling was too frustrating. They've sprayed the weeds and now they're all gone, and so are the fish. Completely changed things.
