New to Missouri, Up From N.W. Forida

Hello Folks, I finally made the move. Future wife is happy. My name is Eric and
I am now living in Springfield and trying to get settled and accustomed to this cold. Not that it wasn't down there, well cool by your all standards anyway. Still have to make a trip back down to get my little go fast car, ('96 Miata...). Anyway, looking for some places to wet a line and catch some Crappy...Stuck on shore for a bit, but will hopefully have a means to get off shore soon. will probably be looking and watching on the site more in the beginning but will try to chime in as I feel comfortable. Till then...sore lip 'em....

In the harbor downtown and below the dam at Warsaw are good spots for a shore bound angler, there are many other spots as well around each lake it well get really good soon as the temp raises. Welcome and dont worry most winters are not this cold

I also hear some folks are having luck at the fishing docks at Bolivar landing on Pomme that would be a lot closer for you

As it gets warmer there are a lot of places reachable with waders. Most creeks have good white bass and walleye runs in the spring. Just a few are little sac and
Sac rivers on Stockton, beaver creek and swan creek on bull shoals James river near
Galena.
