Coldwater bridge

Haven't heard anyone talk lately...How is the bridge coming? When will it be finished?

Saw the cranes from I55 the other day so I would say no, not scheduled to be done till this summer.

I did a little search, hwy 51/coldwater river bridge. 10 entries on the first page and one was from face book with the best answer.
Last I heard we had one section of concrete to pour and some blacktop but it has to warm up before they can start again. Hopes are to open the 1st of Feb.

That would be ahead of schedule, hope they can pull it off.

The original schedule was Oct 1, 2017 with a 6 month lead way. I think it will be finished on time.

Construction personnel are driving across both bridges now. They have milled the asphalt on end of the bridges and looked like they are just cleaning up. They had people out this morning working. Think they put the asphalt down, paint the lines and finish tidying up and she will be open very soon.
