Was trying to use all phosphorus materials in these jigs. Glo paint for the heads - 3mm glo eyes, glo flashabou, and glo threads (to tye with and to make the tails). The 2nd set, I used glo chenille for the body.

Forgot; some of the tailing material came from a wig.
Here are some of mine. These glow so bright when charged really well that I have to wait maybe 30 seconds to take a picture or they are too bright, lol! These will glow for hours, but I would charge mine maybe more often and if day time the sun will charge them. The body if pretty much indestructible. Notice the light on my hand, I take this with the overhead light still on and just put my hand under the desk shadows.

Skip, this may be a dumb question but I guess you would fish these at night mostly. Do they glow when fished around the green dock lights?

Think about it a little, I know this lake once you get 10 feet deep in day time it's dark and they glow easier in the day time as the sun will charge them overtime you bring them up.Quote:

For the water we fish - subtle works better - water is too clear sometimes.
Most of the phosphorus jigs I tye are for deep water - 35' to 60'.
