Bravo...... Ulterra commercial

So, I haven't went out by myself since I had a launch rope break six years ago. I have an ulterra but couldn't bring my self to trust it till today. I get to boat ramp unhook everything , turn on trolling motor turn on remote and say a prayer. Being its a dual ramp somebody backs down beside me. I ease down the ramp and ease her off the trailer . The guy besides starts to hollar your rope broke . I hit the deploy button as I pull up the ramp. The guy sees it deploying and shakes his head. As I walk back down the ramp he grins and says just like the commercial......lol
that was highlight of day. Checked 20 brush piles. Not the first crappie so I moved to creeks and started scouting.

Nice shots! I found em like that last night too but they wouldn’t bite at all! First skunk in a long time water temp was 36.9 might had them locked up.

Well Im going to have to try mine when the weather warms up. I have been very Leary about doing it cause it would be my luck that it wouldn't deploy and I would have to go swimming.:Doh:

I am driving myself crazy trying to decide between the Ulterra and the Terrova. I could use the extra $500 for something else while rigging my boat, but I detest going fishing by myself, mainly because of launching the boat. That auto deploy would surely be nice.

The only reason I will ever own another Terrova is if I can buy it cheap enough to sell it and make a few bucks, on my rig it the Ulterra all the way.

Do you have i Pilot or i Pilot link? I can't decide on that either. LOL I have a H'bird Mega and think the link would be effective for trolling but I don't know enough about it to know for sure.
