Slab Sauce

Ya'll had me sold on trying Slab Sauce, until I found out shipping was $7. Darn, that seems a little steep for a one ounce bottle

$6.40 to LA to be exact, and I always include a little something extra in the package btw. Usually a sample from a sponsor and a Crappie.com decal. I do that to kinda make up in a little way for that shipping cost. Shipping is something I have to pay anyway, as I'm no Amazon.com. And I insist on USPS Priority mail so that it gets there quick, and it can be tracked. On top it all, in the online store I only add like .1 lb per item you buy so it's like a minimum shipping cost. Buy more stuff, you still are likely to pay the minimum shipping (which is a USPS calculation). I actually tried to set flat rate shipping up in the system at something like 4.95 for anything and everything but I could not get it to work correctly in the system. I'm sure I'll eventually get it to work the way I want at some point.

You can also think of it as a donation to the site I guess. Help with expenses. thanks

The hats are very nice and I’m very picky with how a hat feels. And the decals are great for attracting other members and future fishing buddies.

I ordered 2 bottles in Nov and shipping was the same as my Dec order that had 3 bottles and a large crappie.com decal for the truck. As others suggested, buy enough items to fill that little USPS box up and shipping "per item" will be lower. As Slab mentioned, both my orders had a free gift included as well. By the time you tie on a jig head and add a plastic you easily have a .40, .50 cent or greater investment and I lose more than I want to admit per trip. I used 2 bottles of SLAB sauce over 10 or 12 trips and I'm convinced that it helped me catch larger numbers of fish. Shipping cost equates to less than a penny per fish. I'll make that investment all day long.

Gonna order me some.I sure couldn't drive down and pick it up for 7.00.

It's on my want list. I have a bunch of stuff ordered and don't mind the shipping as everyone charges it, or adds it to the price and says free shipping. I think you need a hat and a t shirt anyway.

I'm waiting on long sleeve pocket tees. There's short sleeve but my chemo meds make me susceptible to burns on those long sunny days. The longer the sleeves the longer I can fish. LOL
