Talk with Cane Pole, he is the man with options. I've seen him do some pretty neat stuff. Don't think he's into production but he can show what has worked so far.
Check out the da ducer made by Rickie of Po Dunk Ideas. He has a quick detachable mount for it also.

I gutted an old minn Kota power drive and cut the shat and mounted it on pontoon works just like da ducer

I attach mine to a 2" wide board and clamp it to the transom with an adjustable, ratcheting bar clamp. It's worked fine for three years. But then again I fish from a rowboat. Fiberglass might be a bit different, though the board & clamp idea could still work for temporary attachment to the tm.
I've been thinking about the same thing. Here's some ideas from a quick online search, and some from this site.
