This forum is loaded with great people and great advice! Be careful where you tread though, it is very addicting!
I have found some supplies locally at Bass Pro, Field and Stream, and a couple of outfitter shops.
However, you should look up Skip, he has the good stuff!
(1) thread. I get the nylon thread at walmart most of the time. Poly threads hold up pretty good.
Sally Hansen Hard as Nails is pretty good for sealing the finished tie.
Our member ShilohRed has wildwolfproducts dot com with a few items I use.
ebay may have a few deals, depends on what you want.
PM Skip on the jig tying forum He has seen and done just about everything in tying.Have been tying all my life and he has taught me a thing are three.Order a lot of stuff from Crazyangler.Has just about everything for tying.
Skip has sure made a big difference for me. Several guys on here have contributed in one way or another, but Skip has been like a mentor. I try to get most all my stuff from him
I use Danville 210 flat waxed thread. I can tie as tight as I want without worrying much about breaking it.
I looked at mudhole dot com. Some colors in 100 yd waxed and 200 yd non waxed are $0.94 per spool. Other locations have it from $1.25 to $5.
Danville 210 is 6/0 nylon.
