Feet by the fire

A good fire, hot coffee, sausage, biscuits. Just the wife and I here this Christmas morning reflecting on this day the Lord has made. Five grown children on their own doing well. Eight healthy grand kids. They’ve been here already. The laughter, screams, torn paper, excitement, smell of bread and food cooking still hang in the air. It’s quiet now. So much to be thankful for. Like most of you, we’re the older generation now. We’ve made it a long way. Yes, there’s been some adjustments we’ve had to make in what we do and the way we do. We’ve lost some dear ones too a long the way whoAttachment 283980 make up so much of who we are. Maybe we’re closer now. Christmas brings back so much and adds more going forward. Thank God for Christ and thank God for America.
