Jiggin rod folks

Y'all I have a couple rear seat jiggin rods I'm working on getting better at using. Currently have regular spinning reels on both and don't really care for them. The line gets caught up on the handle sometimes and if the bell is in a bad position when I pull extra line out it will open up. I can see this happening on a hook set. Are these mini baitcaster styles made so you still have a forward handle rotation if you have them hang under the rod? What do you all like to use?

I use the bnm mini baitcasters and love them I don't have any problems at all from them

I use only bb1( b and m) reels on rear seat rods . They are used for single pole fishing only .

I bought a few of these to try out (why not for 3 bucks and change each) after using a name brand one on one of my poles for years and I was not disappointed. They are really built well and actually have a sealed reversible bearing in them. I use them on 10ft poles and they are so small I really don't know they're on there.
