These Redear and Green Sunfish Hybrid were caught during the summer into the winter. All were released after a photo session. UL gear was used - jigs were tipped with crickets.

Until January DBD. Boats out of the water - maintenance - and a bunch of Dr. appointments... If they get done with the boat soon - might be able to squeeze out another trip.
13" redear and those are huge green sunfish even if they are a hybrid. I think the world record is just over 2lbs so that lake might have a record in the future.
I think you are right about the hybrid Green Sunfish Jim. If they get to the 12" range they could push the 2lb mark easy....
