Lake george
I have a week of vacation. I was thinking of trying lake George in the first week of February. I have been there twice a few years back. December and a September. Fishing was kind of slow. I have gotten better at crappie Fishing since then. There is also a nice secure and clean camp ground. We have a truck camper and a boat. Normally we do Okeechobee Fishing has not been the best and neither has our campsite lately.
Do you think lake George would be a good place to take a week trip? We are coming from northern illinos
I figure I can always try the nearby crescent lake as well. The Oklawaha River is also by this lake with miles of trees and stumps to pitch at

Where is the campground if you don't mine are you on the east side of George and you can fish Dexter and woodruff to if on the east side but the weather works the fish. I live in Georgia and fish for crappie and bream down there. I have a camper on the truck when I fish Monroe I stay at Monroe Park. I stayed a couple times in Georgetown on lake George.

Sounds like a prime location to me.

All the areas you mentioned are good, typically, haven't heard how the bite is. They did ok at Cresent just before the cold weather got here.
