I am putting a hook7 at the bow of my boat.
To eleminate I inference from motor and other electronics I thought about running this at the front to power the hook. Will it work well?

It will work but I would advise using your cranking battery and just run wires up front. I bought some of them and they did not last but a couple months. They are hard to charge and keep a charge. I even bought a small battery tender charger to charge them and they still died. They make some bigger ones that may be better. You can find them at battery plus.
I use the same battery in my portable fish finder pack ice fishing to power my HDS 5, it lasts about 4-5 hours with the screen brightness on high, a little longer if you dim the back lighting down.
Your 7 inch screen will probably drain that size battery even faster.
Thanks guys.. I'll just tear the boat apart and run wires. I appreciate your input.
With my helix 9 mega si I can only get about 2.5 hours on one of those mini batteries.
It's a good idea to run electronics power wires direct to the starting battery and down the opposite side of the boat as the TM power wires (if possible) ...
Don't forget to fuse at the battery ...
Here is very good marine wire ...
