Taylorsville 12/2 & 12/3 report
I was finally able to get back on the water on Saturday and Sunday. I spent way to much time the last 2 months chasing deer around the woods. But now l have my freezer full I can get back to the important thing in life.( Crappie fishing)
I could not have timed it any better the weather was perfect both days highs in the upper 50’s and no wind. That’s hard to beat for December.
Hit the water a little before 8 on Saturday water temperature was 50 and had just a little bit of tint to it. I thought it was going to be a banner day. I ended up with a limit but had to work for them.
I didn’t have much time to fish Sunday but I had to go and try them again. I fished from 8-1130 and ended up 2 short of a limit.
All fish was caught casting jigs in 15 fow or more and they wanted it just barely moving. The fish was deeper than I expected them to be. Most was deeper than 10’ deep. Some of them thumped it really hard but quite a few I never felt a thing it just got heavy.
It sure felt good being back on the water.
