Main coosa river channel Weiss

Reading lots of reports of people having luck spider rigging the main coosa river channel on Weiss with live bait. Thinking about coming down a few days next week. That’s a big ole channel, lol. Any recommendations on what areas to try. River channel at mid lake by bridge? Riverside areas? Little river where channel runs close to the bank? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Bay Springs. Riverside and most of the other places on the river are not producing, They have been dropping the water and low barometer, has been killing the fishing. I hope it picks up.

Gonna be cold for the next week or so. I want to go but will wait for it to warm up a bit.
