New boat company announced this week in Flippen, Arkansas may give some guys something to talk about. Vexus will be the name and a bunch of the Ranger guys that left after Johnny Morris bought them out are the ones starting it. Forrest and Nina Wood were also in the picture the day of the announcement. Going to be interesting to see what they release at the bassmaster classic in March. All I seen was they will also have a aluminum line of boats along with the glass rigs.

I heard Stetson was a name tossed around before the announcement because of Forrest Woods hat brand. Will see what the name stands for before long I guess.

1978, Irwin Jacob's (Minneapolis gazillionaire & corporate raider) GENMAR HOLDINGS owned Ranger, Stratos, Four Winns, Aquasport, Carver Yachts, Champion Boats, Crestliner, Glastron, Hatteras Yachts, Larson Boats, Lowe Boats, Scarab Boats, Trojan Yachts, and, Wellcraft brands. And Grain Belt Brewery. In 2009, the company filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, unloaded all the boats.
