GRIZZLY JIG ROAD TRIP: JAN. 25 - 28, 2018

Grizzly Jig Travelers - January 24th - 28th, 2017
We’re planning another road trip to the 2018 Grizzly Jig Tackle Show in Caruthersville, MO! If you’re interested in going, we suggest you start making plans now before the motels fill up. Attached is last year’s Schedule of Seminars and Events and as you can see each day is full off seminars, Q&A sessions and demonstrations given by Crappie Professionals. There are also some great sales on Crappie fishing equipment. Respond to this post if you are interested in traveling with our group or needing to share a room. Don’t wait too long……this is a great Crappie fishing learning experience! A current Schedule will be posted as soon as it is available.

Room Reservations for Grizzly Jig Tackle Show - Jan. 24^th (Wed) - Jan. 27^th(Sat) (4 nights)
The best deal we've found for these dates are at the Quality Inn in Hayti, MO which is 10-15 minutes from Caruthersville, MO., 1500 Highway 84, 1.573. 359.2200. I booked online through "Choice Hotels". Room rates were $74.00 per night (not including taxes) for a room with 2 double beds. Includes Breakfast. Reservations can be cancelled 24 hours before arrival date. There may be a "Special Rate" for Grizzly Jig. I will check on this and report back. The Receptionist indicated they typically fill up on the Tackle Show weekend. The schedule is to drive over on Wednesday, Jan. 24th and drive back to OKC on Sunday afternoon, January 28th. The drive is 554 miles and about 8 1/2 hours. If you plan on going, I suggest making your reservation now and cancel the reservation if your plans change.

BF, had a text discussion with Woodworker42. He is thinking about going and he indicated he will contact you. We may need to have a car start in the Tulsa area and meet the OKC group somewhere along I-40. This is a great trip and the Crappie fishing information is fantastic! More info later......
