can you fish with lights(white and green) from the shore?

Does it work very well? Im thinking it would have to be somewhat deep at the shore huh? What about this time of year for the lights? Are the bugs still around in this temp? Would really like to try this at night with the lights if it is worthwhile at this time of year

I can't see why it would not work . I never night fish but hear it works using lights . A deep bank or pier would be a good place to start . Once the temps drop I don't think bugs will be a problem .
