Dock Shooting Lakes
Can someone tell which lake in Ar. has the best
dock shooting? Like a lake that has a draw down every winter, that would allow space enough to shoot the jig under.
I'm sure there is a lake with a zillion docks, but are to close to the water surface to shoot.

I've heard that horseshoe is a good one don't know if they draw it down, but my favorite thing about dock shooting is shooting a jig right between those little gaps were no one has ever thrown a jig

Lots of docks on hamilton- but its tough to catch fish shooting docks over there. Its fun dont get me wrong, but for me at least has not been wildly productive. I’ll usually catch a few good eaters but not enough to take humble brag pictures.

Ok...the best luck I have ever had on Shooting docks is at Horseshoe Lake below West Memphis. There are a Buzillion Docks and there is plenty of space to shoot under. This Lake was known for great Fishing inside and around the docks and boathouses a bit ago. But watch out...many owners are not too friendly about you working their docks. Many are from Memphis. I have been run off..but there are so many you will find good ones. The fish here, the times I went were not very big in general. Its been a number of years since I did this though. Maybe its better now. Anyone know better??

Thanks guys ... I've forgotten all about Horseshoe Lake, that should be a good one. I haven't fished it since I was in my twenty's, and I'm 72 now.....:dono I remember docks all a long the right side of the lake as you putting in, I think that may be the north side of the lake?
Any help on Horseshoe would be appreciated very much....:fish
