In the early spring/late winter when do the crappie began moving up into the creeks?
Looking back through pictures from last year on my phone. The Crappie where spawning the last couple weeks in March. I would say they start heading up the creeks in late February, soon as the water temps start to rise. Hope this helps.

Normally the last of February crappie are holding in the flats and edge of the channels. They don't all move in at the same time; in other words they're scattered. It's a good time to fish D'Arbonne.
