Fishing line

Just wondering what yalls thoughts on fishing line ? brand--size--color
Last year I been using Mr Crappie camo in 8lb, bought a new reel that had hi vis on it but seemed to break to easy. I bougtht some 6lb fluorocarbon and tried it today, don't like it.

Depends on what I am doing. If dipping pads or thick cover fairly shallow I like 10lb mono/flouro. If cork and jig I like 8lb. ONLY when the water is REAL CLEAR do I go down to 6 or 4 flouroI use 10lb braid on all my spider rig rods. I like clear line

Everybody uses different line. Everybody catches fish. It all comes down to personal preference.

most people catch some fish but others catch allot of fish, line diameter , color and type will make a differance at times and different water clarities, i prefer clear always and floro is hard to beat in and disappers in clear water better than any , brands are personal choice but i like the Vicious and Seaguar fluorocarbons

I like the Mr. Crappie camo 8 as well. It's on my spinning reels right now.

Most places anymore I use Clear Blue Stren or green in 8 lb test . If you fish extreme clear water clear in smaller size might make a difference .

8lb P-Line, Moss Green strongest mono you can buy. But you wont buy it for 4-5 dollars a spools either. It will cost more like 15.00 t0 18.00 dollars a spool bu it will be a 600yd spool. 9 out 0f 10 times you will straighten or break a crappie hook before your line will break. It has low stretch so it make the line really sensitive. The moss green color works great in clear or stained water

I really like 15lb Power Pro super slick 8 in high viz yellow. Yes it is way more strength than you need, but it is very sensitive and only has a 4 lb diameter. Sometimes I use a 6 lb leader of flouro, other times tie directly to the jig or hook. I use it for dipping brush with jigs or minnows and for casting jigs. It has no memory and lasts forever too.
