new guy
First time post but have been reading and appreciating comments for a long time. Best place I've ever seen for a good place to get honest, reliable quotes. I just turned 70 and I enjoy every day I get to fish. If you are a young guy, someday you will look back as the days on the lake being some of your best memories. I mainly fish Shelbyville, but I do fish a lot of other lakes. Just fished Clinton, I mainly tightline, and it was pretty tough. Finally found fish deeper than I expected, about a foot and a half off the bottom on a ledge 15 foot deep near wood, had to go through about eight dinks to one to find anything over ten. Even then, it takes a while to find good spot. Hope to get to Shelbyville in a couple days but suspect fishing to be slow as the result of the colder weather, any comments on how well they are biting?

Welcome to the board. Glad to have another older rotfl guy on board. At 66 I feel lonely here some times.

Welcome Mudman. I joined last April. Haven't met a single person on CDC that hasn't been welcoming. I'm only 52, but got high miles. I see lots of former military in the signatures especially Navy. I guess that's why the guys/gals here are seem so upstanding. Lots of wisdom on this site. Take advantage of the opportunity.
