Minnows

Is there anywhere between huntsville and decatur to buy less than 2dozen minnows?thinking about maybe trying the causeway after work.i know chevron at greenbriar but they have a min of 2 and i dont want to waste that many.

You could go in Petsmart and buy some "Rosy Red" minnows. They're just regular fathead minnows (tuffies) bred to exhibit a recessive gene for color. The only problem is they're often on the small side for bait. The price is probably slightly higher than buying from a bait shop, but I don't think it's that much.

Weavers Texaco across from Lowes in Hartselle sells them by the dozen.

You can also buy them in Somerville at the caution light and the Wavaho in Pineville may have them
