Just FYI
I have not fished for crappie during the day since April; with that being said I launched at PB2 (LOZ) yesterday for only the second time ever. I have never really fished or ran the Glaize but yesterday I did both. I went back into a big cove bass fishing where the shad were as thick as protesters at a (whoa gonna get off track with that thought) but yeah. I threw a wacky worm in a sunken tree in about a foot of water and crappies were swarming trying to pick that thing apart. When I fished the Big Bash Bash on the Gravios I had a similar occurrence. I guess the point being is some are that shallow right now. Just surprised me a little bit, I've never really fished that shallow for crappies in the fall. I did like what I saw in the Glaize. Lots of lay downs and flooded timber, just not very many docks but that can be a good thing.

Bugman Jamie at simply crappie asked me about the shad the other day. He likes getting on them shallow glaize arm fishes.

That's a pretty good fyi. Will definitely keep that in mind. Thanks for the info.
