Lake Seminole and Talquin??

Does anyone have any suggestions on wheres the best place to launch on Seminole or Talquin to target some crappie with a Kayak? Something close in where I didn't have to be concerned with big open water or pedaling for miles. I have not been crappie fishing in years since moving to the Panhandle of FL and the bugs bitten me again. Thanks, Chris Attachment 277082

I would suggest Seminole if going this month. Dad caught a 12lb sack out there last week. Big fish are biting. I see you're coming from gulf breeze so I'd recommend Sneads Park off Legion Rd in Sneads. Once it turns cold, Talquin will pick up. I recommend Lake Talquin Lodge as it is centered in the middle of the lake and has several good areas within paddling distance.
