West of Weatherford

Any good slab stabbing going on out in real West Texas?
Heading that way this weekend

Leon is good , Bridgeport is good ,mineral wells is slow on large fish ,proctor is ok ,granbury is ok

We fished all around Abilene and didnt find anything in a weeks time out there
Skunked on 7 different lakes

buffalo springs lake has a good bite ?

Before the drought over the last few years Weatherford was a good crappie lake. Now that it has refilled I have not fished it. I have been thinking of giving it a try this winter.

Weatherford is a still a good crappie lake and I have hit it often , don’t go near as much now as I used to but it holds some good fish if you can find them
