What I have ,what i want!
I currently have a Lowerance Elite 5/ gps on my bow where I have double seats. I'm wanting to buy a SI that will be mounted near the rear seat.( tiller steer). This is a 18 ft Jon that I use for fishing and waterfowl. I would like to connect front unit and SI unit so when marking structure it shares waypoints. Knowing nothing at all about fish finders and still trying to learn my Elite 5! What Lowerance unit in the $700 range would be my best choice? Or hummingbird unit if there's a way to do that? What other costs would come by connecting units? ( Ethernet, etc)? And can I mount transducer when I don't have power trim? I'm full of questions and not experienced with the rigging of the SI . Help is appreciated!
