Bankhead Lake

Heading back to the Bluff Creek area of Bankhead Lake the end of next week for semi-annual trip; does anyone have any suggestions on where to start looking for crappie? River channel lay downs. Coves?

Don't know anything about fishining down that way .but would see what water temp is and go from their if lower 70's I would check the coves if it's still in upper 70s I would hit the river Channels and laydowns :twocents

I enjoy fishing out there, but don't crappie fish there frequently enough to give you an idea where to go.
