Got a few

Well with all that's been going on lately I decided to go and give it a try after about a month and a half did have any solid information since I no longer have a full time fishing buddy may he RIP so i make a solo trip to Gibson, La Bob's bayou black marina got to launch about 7:30am not knowing where to go not knowing how my boat would run after my little repair I had done I decided to head to the toilet bowl canal get to the canal not seeing many boats I was thinking I came the wrong way not much traffic until I made that left turn in the toilet bowl 8 to 9 boats in the canal talked to a few guys but most said they weren't catching so I decided to go all the way to the back all by myself think of the good time me and mike had in that canal but that was a short memory cause as soon as I put my blue and black curly tail jig on I had a perch not good caught about 6 all releases cause I don't like them so I moved to the other side of the canal and bam jackpot about 12 ft from the bank I caught about 40 kept 24 the toilet bowl was hot for about 4 hour until the wind picked up fished til 12:30 forgot to take pic until almost finish

Good going buddy, you have a few fatties in there. I'm glad it all worked out with the boat repairs. Too bad you couldn't brag to Uncle Mike about them but then again he was probably watching you from above. Take care and thanks for the report and picture.
