Wife update 9/28
Alright all, surgery was successful. They believe they have her pressure set on her shunt correctly as well now. She is waking up and trying to talk and gets a few words out but having a rough go with the trach in and talking. Moving all extremities to some degree. Had her setting upright on edge of bed today which is a huge step. She is very coherent of what is going on and understands most things. Except she thinks she still smokes and quit 12 years ago. Thank you all for the prayers and please keep praying when you get a chance. She still has a tough road but it seems paved pretty well now.
